ABOUT ME
I was raised in Anne Arundel county, and attended Catholic school from kindergarten.
My love of art began at an early age and my elementary art teacher was the best.
I attended Archbishop Spalding High School and continued to develop my love of fine arts and theater arts.
For college, I attended the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, right here in Baltimore. I majored in Fine Art with a concentration in Studio art. I graduated in 2002.
I spent the next five years in admissions, first at my college, and then as the Admissions Director at Seton Keough High school, where I also spent 8 seasons working with the theater students on all aspects of backstage work, but especially set design and scenic painting.
In 2008 I began my career as an art teacher, first at Our Lady of Victory School and later split between there and Our Lady of Perpetual Help school.
Starting in 2012 I began working as the Artistic director of theater at Archbishop Spalding on weekends.
I completed my Masters degree in 2014 at Notre Dame of Maryland and I hold a MD teaching certificate.
In 2015 I was honored by being inducted into the Archbishop Spalding Fine Arts Hall of Fame.
I joined the IHM family in 2015-16 school year. I love our school community!
